Annie

Musical,For the Family

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations… and even befriends President Franklinno Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in the billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, "Newsies" is the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who rallies “newsies” from across NYC to strike for what’s right after publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer threatens their livelihood. As a stand-up comic, Blizzard entertains audiences in the northeast with her humorous monologues on bygone pageant days and more current tales of stretch marks and motherhood.

Felipe Esparza

Stand Up Comedy

Felipe Esparza walked away with the title prize on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2010. In 2012, he released his first stand-up special, “They’re Not Gonna Laugh at You,” for Showtime, now available on DVD and Netflix. In 2014, Esparza launched a podcast, “What’s Up Fool?,” on the All Things Comedy network started by Bill Burr and Al Madrigal.
